Good friends

I dont usually do much writing on my blog but today I feel like I need to start. A blog should be about someones life, not just descriptions done with photos but with words. So here we go...

A friend of mine is getting married, weddings are one of my favorite things. Ive known both the bride and groom for years and years, and I knew they were meant to be together from the moment I saw the way they looked at eachother. So I could not be prouder to be a bridesmaid in their wedding, I will stand up beside the bride and be honored that she chose me to be with her on this big day.

But thats not what this post is about. This post is about those friends that you couldnt make it through life without. Friends that make you laugh, who you can always be yourself around, friends who you are friends with through life when there really isnt anything keeping you together besides the fact that you just truly love each other. These friends are also the ones who you have your most fond memories with even when you were just sitting at home, or, in our case, traveling for softball. These friends I refer to are Sarah and Aubrey (the original trio).

I dont get to spend enough time with these girls due to our hectic lives, but each time I do I remember why they are in my life. We went dress shopping this past week, and I was reminded how lucky I am to have met these two girls. They are two of the funniest people I have ever known. That night was mostly spent turning into the 14 year old girls we were when we met laughing at everything possible. Sarah is easily distracted so looking for dresses with her is almost impossible. We ended up at dinner that night, and I left with a stomach ache from laughing so hard.

I realized something that night though, that I will always need these girls in my life. Even though we are at different places in our lives - we all know that we need eachother and they just hold a special place. They are good friends, and everyone should have this because life is better with people you can laugh so hard it hurts. I know you are all probably thinking that it doesnt take much to make me laugh, and you are right...because I do love me some laughing. I guess what Im saying, is Im one lucky girl to have these great friends in my life!
