Due to my storage size problem, and also the fact that I have been wanting to start a new blog for awhile now...we have a new web address.  Please go here to see our new family blog.  Or visit kkccanderson.wordpress.com.  Since I am still new in the wordpress world, Im still trying to figure out the layouts and such.  So be patient with me as I update it and figure it all out!!  Thanks for reading!!

The past and the future

Finally getting a second to talk about the past year and the new year!  2010 was an awesome year for us.  Probably one of the best years we have had!  Of course there were hard times along the way - but nothing we couldnt overcome (hint - our house sale!!).  Here is a rundown of our past year (from what I can remember right now)

• We spent a lot of time playing with our kids, and watching them grow
• We sold our house
• We broke ground and began building our future home
• We spent a lot of time with great friends and family
• Camdyn tried gymnastics, swimming and is now in dance
• Cade started crawling, moved on to walking and now runs like a big kid
• My best friend got married and Camdyn and I were both in the wedding!
• We celebrated many big birthdays - Cades 1st, My sisters 30th, Audras 30th, Clydes 50th and My Grandpas 75th!
• We went to the zoo
• We spent most fridays having dance parties in our living room
• I went to a concert with my sister in law
• I went on a girls weekend trip to Kansas City
• Kyle played golf like it was going out of style
• Kyle started and expanded his online golf business
• We welcomed a beautiful new neice (Haylee) into our family
• We got our sister and brother in law to move back to Lincoln :)!
• We went to the dedication of a brick for my grandpas time serving in the army!!
• Kyle and I celebrated 5 years of marriage with a weekend away!!
• We lost an amazing aunt to cancer - Gleann was an awesome person!!
• I volunteered for the special olympics - one of the best times of the year!
• I volunteered for junior achievment - and taught a kindergarten class - which was awesome and nervewrackinvg at the same time!!
• Attended many friends weddings
• Watched many husker games...some good...some not so good!
• I ran my first 5k

I think that pretty much sums up our year!!  Hopefully I didnt miss anything!!

Im hoping 2011 is an even better year, and we keep the family healthy and happy!!
Im going to add a few of my "resolutions" here, to hopefully keep me motivated

• To run the 2011 1/2 marathon with my friends
• To grow my faith
• To spend many days outside playing with my kids in our new backyard (once it warms up) and many days playing with our new basketball hoop.
• Have an amazingly organized house (this will probably be my first broken resolution...Im aware)
• Have fewer "un-needed" items in our home - If we havnt used it since we moved out - I probably dont need it!
• Begin recycling when we move into the new house
• Decorate my house for real...not just pieces thrown together (like our previous houses).  Im not talking spend a million dollars...Im talking design on a budget - but get exactly what I want.  Its a huge challenge but Im up for it!
• Dance more and laugh more...this is a tough one - since I already do both of these a lot :)!

I think that is all for now.  The basis of 2011 for me will be finding balance between everything.  Becoming healthier, happier and living more simply.  Hey, atleast Im giving it a shot :)!!

It was so funny watching Jay do this with his long flowy hair!!  Such a good time!!  Have I ever mentioned how much I miss these two!!!  Why oh why do they have to live in Wisconsin!!  I cant think of two "funner" people to hang out with then these two right here!!  Cant wait to visit you guys this year!!

The day was great, after every gift Camdyn would say "this is exactly what I wanted!!" and then she would run over and give me a hug.  She was very appretiative.  Cade, loved the gifts but he loved the big box that they came in even better!!
