Do you ever hear a song, and it makes you miss someone? Well the other day I borrowed a friends Ipod, and a song came on that I hadnt heard in awhile. "No Woman No Cry". It brought me back to all the good times we had with our friends the KKBRSJ group. Our friend Jay, is one of the best singers I have ever known in real life. I still get depressed that he couldnt sing in our wedding (was too busy on a summer program preparing for his doctorate) He sends chills down your spine, and there are many songs that he has sang throughout our friendship that remind me of him. To name a few...simple man (Kyles favorite), Satelite, any Beatles song, and my favorite Lets stay together...oh and then of course No woman no cry. I can only hope they move closer to Lincoln when he becomes a doctor here shortly!! (CRAZY, Jays gonna be Dr. Steinkruger soon!)
It seems like all my friends keep moving away though, first Sarah and Jay, then Megan and Paul and now another one bites the dust...Bobbi and Tim have moved to Omaha!! Our visits are now few and far between but our friendship has remained strong!! Heres a photo from our dinner on Monday! Its actually kind of a strutter reunion - plus a few!! Good times were had by all!!
